Candacy + Trevor Married
My heart always leaps in my chest when the moment comes, and the groom sees his bride for the first time. For Trevor, he looked so proud to have Candacy walking towards him. His love was overflowing, and it was one of the most joyful, happy ceremonies I have had the pleasure of witnessing. This wedding was very special for me. The maid-of-honer/sister of the groom is not only a good friend of mine, but also my second photographer this summer. She had asked me a few months prior if I could come and photograph the ceremony and portraits for her brother's wedding, as she would obviously be otherwise 'engaged' during those times of the day. I was honoured to be asked to come and be a part of this day with her family. It was such a special treat for me to see so many familiar faces from my childhood, as Mandy and I have been friends for forever.
With just a handful of their closest family all sitting at the edge of Okanagan Lake in front of their family cabin, Candacy and Trevor said their 'I do's'. With their little guy sitting front row and centre, it was the perfect setting to solidify the bond between this beautiful family of 3.
Here are just a few of the photos from their ceremony and wedding day...
